These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of offensonline.com, operated by Offenso Hackers Academy Private Limited, and your purchase and use of the digital courses offered through it.
By accessing the platform, creating an account or enrolling in any course, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Definitions
- “Course” — any digital, self-paced online course, bundle, lesson, video, lab, quiz or study material on the platform.
- “User”, “you” — any person who accesses the platform, with or without an account.
- “Account” — the registered profile through which you access purchased courses.
- “Content” — all material on the platform, including videos, text, graphics, code, labs, PDFs and certificates.
Eligibility and your account
- You must be capable of forming a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under 18, use the platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
- You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us at offensonline@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
- One account is for one individual. Accounts may not be shared, sold, transferred or used by multiple people.
Course access and licence
On successful payment we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and view the purchased course for your own learning.
- Access is granted electronically and immediately — see our Delivery Policy.
- Self-paced courses carry no fixed validity; you retain access for as long as the platform offers that course.
- We may update, improve, restructure or retire course content at any time to keep it current.
- Live sessions, community groups and support channels, where offered, may be modified or discontinued.
Payments, pricing and taxes
- All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
- Payments are processed by third-party gateways. We do not store your card, UPI or banking credentials.
- Promotional prices, coupons and discounts are valid only for the stated period and conditions, and may be withdrawn at any time.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel any order affected by an obvious error.
Refunds and cancellation
Because courses are digital and access is granted immediately, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it before purchasing.
Acceptable use and ethical conduct
Our courses teach offensive security techniques for defensive, lawful and educational purposes only. By enrolling you expressly agree that you will:
- Apply what you learn only on systems you own, or where you have explicit written authorisation from the owner.
- Comply at all times with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and all other applicable laws.
- Never use these techniques to gain unauthorised access to, damage, disrupt or extract data from any system, network, account or device.
Unauthorised hacking is a criminal offence. Offenso does not endorse, support or accept responsibility for unlawful activity by a user. You alone are liable for how you apply this knowledge, and we reserve the right to terminate your account and cooperate with law enforcement where misuse is suspected.
Intellectual property
All content on the platform is owned by or licensed to Offenso and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Download, record, screen-capture, copy, reproduce or redistribute any course content.
- Share your login credentials or make course content available to any third party.
- Resell, sub-licence, rent or use the content for commercial training of others.
- Remove or alter any copyright, watermark or proprietary notice.
Violation may result in immediate termination of access without refund, and legal action for damages.
Certificates
Certificates of completion are issued on fulfilling the stated course requirements. A certificate acknowledges completion of our training only — it is not a government, statutory or internationally accredited qualification, and does not guarantee employment, licensure or professional certification.
User content and community conduct
Where you post reviews, questions or content in our groups or on the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and reproduce it in connection with the platform. You agree not to post anything unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, misleading or infringing. We may remove content and restrict participation at our discretion.
Third-party services and links
The platform integrates and links to third-party services such as payment gateways, video hosting, analytics and community platforms. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of them. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of any third-party service.
Disclaimer of warranties
The platform and courses are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work to keep content accurate and current, cyber security evolves rapidly and we make no warranty that the content is complete, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access, and make no guarantee of any specific outcome, including employment, income, exam success or skill level.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Offenso, its directors, instructors and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of your use of the platform or courses.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to a course shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for that course.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Offenso and its personnel from any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms, your violation of any law, your infringement of any third-party right, or any misuse of the techniques taught in our courses.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access, without notice or refund, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms — including sharing credentials, pirating content, abusing the refund policy or using our training unlawfully.
You may stop using the platform at any time. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity survive termination.
Privacy
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how it is used.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kochi, Kerala, India.
